WNYGRS is a group of people who love trains- garden trains more specifically. We meet in member homes and have clinics on model building, track maintenance, etc. We also sponor open houses in the summer at members garden railroads. We also build and maintain a holiday layout at the Botanical Gardens each winter.

Our Mission

The mission of our club is to promote and share the love of model railroading- garden railroading in particular.

Becoming a Member

You are welcome to join our club after attending two meetings or work events. Your acceptance will be voted on by the club members at a regular meeting. Dues are presently (March 1, 2010) $20 per year.

Organization News

Visit one of our summer open houses this summer (2010). We will be back in the Ag-Grange Building during the Erie County Fair in August. Later in the year at the Botanical Gardens in beautiful Lackawanna, NY shortly after Thanksgiving. We will also have layouts at the WNYRHS train shows in November 2010 and February 2011. See you at one of these events.
